This can become a mountain disconnected data that you know is valuable but you have no idea how to practically leverage to answer the types of questions you have. With Power BI you can turn your data problem into advantage for your business by joining together disparate and disconnected data sources and carrying out basic visualization and analysis to help you understand better.

In this video we look at the example of a restaurant, we bring data exported from several different systems into Power BI using Power Query, we build a simple data model with table relationships, create a date table, add a few visualizations, and create some DAX measures and calculated columns. This is a starting point to start to understand the value Power BI might bring to your business.
