Copilot Gets Plugins (Microsoft Build announcement)

At Microsoft Build there were lots of AI announcements but a really exciting one was around the extensibility model for Microsoft Copilot (including Microsoft 365 Copilot) to highlight how this technology will be able to interact with 3rd-party platforms.

We learned that a simply model will apply in Copilot, in ChatGPT, and in Bing Chat, so that plugin development can add value everywhere, and that through the Copilot System the grounding calls made will include both data from the Microsoft Graph as well as third-party sources leveraged through web APIs or plugins.
