Import Custom Connectors in Power Platform Solutions

Using solutions is the starting point for ALM (application lifecycle management) with Power Platform, and on its own can be an easy way to start out for new makers looking to get better control over the deployment and management of their apps.

If you use a data source that requires a custom connector in Power Apps or Power Automate and you add this to your solution, then you may run into difficulties when trying to deploy that solution to a different environment for testing, production, or even further development.

In this video we look at one way (and possibly the simplest way) around this by staggering your deployment across two solutions.
