Create a self-service visitor reception app for in-person appointments in Microsoft Bookings

Microsoft Bookings is a fantastic tool included in most Microsoft 365 plans that allows us to automate the process by which our customers or other stakeholders can book meetings or services with us. I use this in my own business for booking client meetings, but you could use it virtually anywhere from hair salons to doctors' offices, to schools and universities.

While Bookings is great for setting up virtual appointments, it can be also be used for setting up in-person meetings or services. For most businesses, when a person arrives for a service or meeting there is some process of signing them in, whether for security, or to make sure they sign your NDA, or simply to track that they turned up, and this can lead to your visitors having to re-enter information you already have or start from scratch in a new system.

So, this got me thinking, wouldn't it be great if you could connect a customer facing app that is used at your reception desk for your guests to sign in with the data you already have in Bookings or elsewhere. Over the course of the video, I'm going to show you the steps you would need to take to build this sort of solution.
