Will AI deliver the 4-day work week?

Great changes in how we live and work have been initiated by leaps in technology throughout human history. With the advent of AI technology and the continued development of our communication technologies, will we start seeing a super productive and super mobile workforce that only works 4 days instead of 5?

This may seem a crazy idea but recent research suggests otherwise. And with Microsoft 365 Copilot just around the corner, and the increase of AI everywhere, this may be the push businesses need to rethink just what work looks like for workers in our second century of the information era.
