Claude in Copilot: Incremental Upgrade or Quiet Game Changer?

How big a deal is Claude in Microsoft 365 Copilot?

I was regularly being billed for extra usage by Anthropic, but since Claude, first Sonnet and now Opus, dropped in Copilot Chat, I've used less than 20% of my allocated capacity this week.

The step up in performance for the types of work I do is, in my opinion, significant. The way Claude looks at knowledge work issues versus GPT models, just feels more aligned with how I approach things. Yet, model choice is there because not everyone will agree with this takeaway.

And, if you are fully integrated into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, the layering of Copilot's capabilities on top of Work IQ does offer benefits that out of the box Claude (or ChatGPT) do not. This is a big deal as smarts without context don't really get you anywhere.

Has Claude in Copilot altered how you use AI?
