Introducing the Agent Link Web Part: Seamless Access to SharePoint Agents

A new option to access SharePoint Agents is coming, the Agent Link Web Part. It will allow you to provide direct access to certain agents from pages, so that site users can have a seamless experience of getting to the relevant agent for the content they are accessing.

As our stables of agents and other AI-powered tools grow, surfacing the right ones in the right context becomes the pressing challenge. This gives those building SharePoint sites that are focused on more than just building a document repository the tools to do just that. Imagine your HR SharePoint site that has been diligently crafted to be an easy access point to your company's information; you will be able to add curated access to agents to that tailored UX so that Policy Agent and Career Development Agent pop up in the right places.

One missing feature here so far is that this is focused on SharePoint agents. I hope that this can expand so that any agent can be shared this way and used contextually within SharePoint. I could even imagine a scenario where this feature could be used to connect individual agents to their specific training resources to allow businesses to build their own catalog of agents with connected learning content.
