Scheduled Prompts Go Agent-Wide: A Frontier Upgrade for Copilot

We can now schedule prompts for declarative agents with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license and Frontier Program access.

This is an extension of the Scheduled Prompts feature we have had for a while in Copilot Chat to now include the option to schedule prompts both for Microsoft's first-party agents and others you might have created in your environment.

You can keep track of which agent is involved in delivering which prompt output with the useful icon-based indicator in your list of scheduled prompts which you can mouseover to get the agent's name.

This is an incredibly useful upgrade as it allows you to fully customize the type of responses you want to get back in terms of prompt logic and data access.

There are still some items on my wish list for scheduled prompts though. First, why only 15 runs maximum? A greater choice in terms of where they output (though we do now have email notification added). And, last, make them interoperable with normal automation in Power Automate so that it's easy to build simple automations leveraging Copilot and agent.

What will be your first schedule prompt for an agent? And what's on your wish list for this important feature?
