SharePoint Agents Now Manageable via Copilot Control System

Management of SharePoint Agents is being added to the Copilot Control System Agents view.

Again, another step on the path to all the different Copilot-related and agentic assets across Microsoft 365 coming together into one coherent feature set where we all have to spend time worrying and where or how something was built.

One interesting thing to note here is that currently this new capability will impact agents used in Copilot Chat but will not impact access to those agents in other interfaces such as SharePoint. This is important for admins to know as it may be assumed that this interface provides universal control.

This is currently rolling out to GA. See MC1169070 in Microsoft 365 message center for more information.
