Microsoft Copilot in Windows and its place on Microsoft's AI roadmap

Microsoft Copilot in Windows (or Windows Copilot as it were known in as part of the Windows Insider Program) is an AI assistant built right into Windows 11. It's now available to everyone using Windows 11 as part of a preview update, and offers a glimpse of the AI future. But, what gets added to a tool that's just part of Windows versus premium products like Microsoft 365 Copilot? And how does Microsoft with this product, or Google with a product like Bard, actually make money?
