A Small but Smart Update: Teams’ New Join Bar Makes Meetings Easier

Sometimes the most useful new features are also the simplest.

A new meeting join bar is coming to Teams that will make it clearer which meetings that you've either confirmed attendance on or marked as tentative are currently ongoing. From there it's easy to interact with them or join.

Hopefully this also makes it easy to join the meeting using the right tenant based on the options added to your Teams client. This is really important to get the best experience of your Teams meetings.

The experience of meetings continues to evolve, and while many new features are usefully AI integrated, just making usage of Teams more streamlined and accessible is clearly still a priority. This is great, as while features like the new calendar experience or this addition are a real bonus, there are still opportunities to make attending Teams meetings more straightforward for all involved.

What small quality-of-life improvements would you still like to see in Teams outside of the ongoing upgrades we see in areas like Copilot integration?
