Why Are My Power Automate Connections Randomly Resetting?

I am seeing Power Automate flows randomly resetting specific connection choices to "Provided by run-only user" more and more frequently. This completely breaks many patterns for how flows may be linked to each other in parent-child relationships.

It seems to be specific connectors that do this more often than not, and most of the time it happens without any change in the flow that is connected with actions using that connector.

Has anyone else seen this? Do you know what causes it? And, most importantly, how do you fix it?
