When $0.02 Emails Cost You Credibility: The New Low in AI Marketing Spam

A new low in email marketing spam or just a salesperson trying to share their 2 cents (literally)?

I'll give you your $0.02 back (maybe) if you can answer this question:

If you're trying to sell me a service to market my business, why would I trust you if this is your approach to marketing *your* business?

Last week I had another of these AI-powered lead gen companies call me (maybe it was the same one) promising that their tech would connect me with my ideal clients. So, I asked a simple question:

"Did you use your AI technology to decide to contact me"

There was a confused silence and the call soon ended.

If they did use it, then clearly it doesn't work, as I have no interest in their product. And if they didn't, then clearly it doesn't work, or they'd be using it themselves (and probably not messages over PayPal).

I use AI every day, it's incredibly useful. But if the company selling it has to rely on scammy tactics to get you to look then probably their tech just isn't the one you should invest in.

And PayPal, maybe you should take a look at this before your platform becomes a B2B spam channel.

BTW: If anyone else wants to do this. My fee for reading your nonsense marketing is $2,500.
