Is Microsoft 365 Copilot Worth It? New Dashboard Update Aims to Answer That
Does Microsoft 365 Copilot really work? Does my team use it? Is it worth what we're paying for it?
Despite the wide range of capabilities of Microsoft 365 Copilot, proving its worth can be challenging as much of what it does happens transparently and looks like what your team would be doing anyway. This is radically different to, for example, adopting a new piece of finance software, where you can easily understand if it's being used by tracking if the latest invoices have been entered correctly.
Microsoft is fully aware of this different needs to prove Copilot's value and has developed reporting tools to help to understand where and how it's being used. The key asset for this is the Microsoft 365 Copilot Dashboard.
And now, even more granular reporting is being added to the Dashboard by way of categorization of the types of prompts people are using in Chat. The use will be broken down as: Ask and find, Catch up, Draft and brainstorm, and Other.
More information is available in the Microsoft 365 message center under MC1092459, and this update will be rolling out in August.
